A proud Texas Tech graduate with degrees in Personal Financial Planning and Economics, AJ remains active with the university as a board member for the School of Financial Planning Alumni Advisory Board and Treasurer of the Texas Tech Alumni Association – Lubbock Chapter.

In the community, AJ serves on the Leadership Lubbock Steering Committee, formerly chaired the Chamber’s Young Professionals, and serves on the board of the Children’s Advocacy Center of the South Plains. Outside work, he enjoys Tech sports, golf, hunting, and time with his wife, Mairin, and their dogs, Scarlet and Stella.
