Lubbock Civic Orchestra: Heaven & Earth - the spirit of connection

Join the Lubbock Civic Orchestra for Heaven & Earth: the Spirit of Connection! Repertoire includes: Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman (1986) - Joan Tower, An Outdoor Overture (1938) - Aaron Copland, Running Spirit (2016) - Nicolás Repetto, and “Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity” from The Planets, Op. 32 (1916) - Gustav Holst. Sunday, March 26 in Plainview - in collaboration with the Plainview Civic Music Association - the orchestra will perform at 3:00pm in Harral Auditorium on the campus of Wayland Baptist University. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for students of all ages and will be available for purchase at the door. Tuesday, March 28 in Lubbock - in collaboration with Lubbock Christian University - the orchestra will perform at 7:30pm in McDonald-Moody Auditorium on the campus of Lubbock Christian University. Admission is free.
