ABOUT OUR PRESENTERS:
This presentation given by Loni Woodley, CPA, ABV, CFF, and Managing Partner of ATLAS Navigators, LLC. Loni grew up in Iowa, developing strong work ethics in a small farming community. He graduated from the University of Northern Iowa and passed the CPA exam just after graduation. Loni started his career in public accounting with McGladery & Pullen in Iowa City, then spent time as a CFO in the private and public sectors. In 2010, he became the founder of ATLAS with its first locations in Colorado. Through successful mergers and acquisitions, ATLAS now has 25 locations across eight states, with our five West Texas locations operating as CMMS CPAs & Advisors PLLC. / Throughout his years in public accounting, Loni has honed his skills in audit, tax and accounting, and mergers and acquisitions. His years of experience have also afforded him the opportunity to dive into the unique complexities of various industries, allowing him to support those in architecture, engineering, land development, construction, local government, and more, at a very high level. / Loni knows that actively involved leadership is important to the culture of ATLAS, and strives to lead by example. With his Partners and key team members, ATLAS has become what it is today – a ‘small firm’ feel, with ‘big firm’ resources. / ATLAS is an acronym standing for Advisors That Listen And Serve. This presentation supported by Candice Kimbrough, Tax Manager of CMMS CPAs & Advisors PLLC, an ATLAS Navigators, LLC firm, in Lubbock, Texas. Candice holds a Bachelors in Accounting and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Texas Tech University, with eligibility for the EA and CPA exams. Candice has more than 17 years of experience as an accountant, including more than 10 years as a tax manager overseeing client relationships, office operations, and managing workflow. / Candice’s own experience as a business owner and operator, combined with her years in accounting, and her Entrepreneurial degree, have made her uniquely qualified to care for our business and individual clients. Her deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by business owners, while being able to approach such matters with a tax, accounting, and strategy-based mindset has allowed Candice to help many of our business clients experience growth. / Candice has a deep understanding of the financial and operational fundamentals necessary for small and mid-sized businesses to succeed. Throughout her career in public accounting, Candice has honed her skills in budgeting, forecasting, and revenue generation, and – with a comprehensive knowledge of tax planning – is able to support clients not only with regulatory compliance, but also business growth plans and advanced strategies for tax savings. Her vast experience in all aspects of the accounting industry has afforded her the opportunity to work with- and develop expertise in- a very wide-range of industries, including medical, real estate, and professional services.
