The #metoo movement has brought renewed attention back to sexual harassment in the workplace. Making sure you and your business know the common mistakes and steps to prevent a hostile work environment is more important now than ever.
With so many victims coming forward, we need to ask ourselves if we really understand what workplace sexual harassment is. Some employers may practice subtle discrimination based on race, gender or religious preferences without even realizing it. What are subtle actions that are offensive but unintentional? How can employees make employers aware they are being offensive? Join us for honest dialogue that will reveal surprising insights from both sides.
Attorneys, Bill Lane and Will Griffis from McCleskey, Harriger, Brazill & Graf will lead the discussion on this topic.
The Business Success Seminar Series is an innovative program designed to address critical topics and to help prepare participants to meet the ever-changing demands of the 21st century workplace, expanding current "essential knowledge".
Tickets are $50 and $35 for Chamber members. To register click here or email allison.cottrell@lubbockbiz.org for more information.
