2018-2019 Young Entrepreneurs Academy...
Description
Join the Young Entrepreneurs Academy for an information session on September 4, 2018 from 6:00 - 7:00 PM. YEA! is recruiting for the 2018-2019 year, join us and learn how YEA! can help your child launch their dream enterprise.
Thanks to a generous grant from the CH Foundation, tuition for the 2018-2018 YEA! year will be $195**. The CH Foundation grant will cover $600 of the $795 tuition.
**A scholarship/grant form must be filled out and submitted before Orientation on October 16, 2018 in order for YEA! to honor the grant use. A form will be provided to you when you are accepted into the class.
The Young Entrepreneurs Academy, or YEA!, is a class that teaches students between 11 and 18 years old how to start and run their own business, or non-profit organization. The class meets weekly. Students meet every Tuesday from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the TTU Innovation Hub, October thru May.

The YEA! class provides students with introductions to local entrepreneurs and business leaders, exciting field trips to businesses for a behind-the-scenes experience, meetings with attorneys, accountants, marketing professionals, graphic designers, manufacturers, internet specialists, and more. All of the resources that students need to start their own businesses are provided?students just need the drive, motivation and enthusiasm to make it happen!
Students will prepare a real business plan and pitch their plan to investors for funding. Think ?Shark Tank? meets ?The Apprentice??the YEA! class teaches students how to embrace their passion, live their dream, and change the world.
